Privacy Policy

Prayer events — When you press "Light a Prayer," we store the approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), a timestamp, and an anonymous identifier. We do not store your name or exact address for prayer events.

Prayer requests — If you submit a prayer request, we store your first name, optional last name, optional email address, optional age, optional location, and your prayer message. This information is used solely to hold your intention in the daily global prayer circle and to send you a confirmation email if you provided an address.

Newsletter subscriptions — If you join Oneness Circle, we store your name, email address, and optional country. We use this to send you updates about the global prayer community.

Account information — If you log in, we store your name and email address provided by the Manus authentication system. We do not store passwords.

Public — The Prayer Wall displays only your first name (or "Anonymous" if you prefer), your country, and a short excerpt of your prayer message. No email addresses, last names, ages, or exact locations are ever shown publicly.

Private — Your full name, email address, age, city, state, and complete prayer message are private. They are only accessible to the Oneness Circle administrator and are never sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Globe lights — Prayer lights on the globe show only an approximate city-level location. No personal identifiers are attached to globe lights.

All data is stored in an encrypted database hosted on a private server. Connections to the database use TLS encryption. API keys and credentials are stored as server-side environment variables and are never exposed in the browser. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated bot submissions.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, social media pixels, or analytics services that share your data with other companies. The only third-party services we use are Resend (for transactional email delivery) and Cloudflare (for bot protection and DNS).

We use the information you provide only for the following purposes:

• To hold your prayer intention in the daily global prayer circle
• To send you a confirmation email when you submit a prayer request
• To send periodic updates about the Oneness Circle community (subscribers only)
• To display your prayer light on the globe (approximate location only)
• To show an anonymized excerpt on the Prayer Wall (first name + country + message excerpt)

We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We never use it for any purpose other than what is listed above.

You have the right to access, correct, or permanently delete any personal information we hold about you. This applies regardless of where you live.

If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
